Applications are invited for the position of Fixed Term Temporary Special Class Teacher in Linn Dara Schools (Roll no. 19630O).
Suitably qualified teachers in ENGLISH and/or MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES and/or MATHEMATICS, who hold Teaching Council registration may apply for this Special Class position.
The post commences on Monday 27th January 2025, and will run until the end of the school academic year.
*School summer holidays next year begin on Friday 20th June 2025*
Linn Dara Schools are multi-denominational special hospitals schools providing educational continuity to support recovery for pupils who are admitted to either Linn Dara CAMHS Approved Centre or attending the Linn Dara CAMHS Community Teams.
We have an inpatient and an outpatient school, both located within the Cherry Orchard Hospital Campus in Dublin 10.
The schools are under the patronage of the Health Service Executive (HSE).
Teachers are employed as Special Class Teachers, and have the same pay, school holidays and conditions as Primary Teachers.
Experience or qualifications in a Special Education / Special School setting are desirable, but not essential. A willingness to teach a wide range of subjects and levels (both Junior and Senior Cycle) are also highly desirable.
To apply you must be currently registered with the Teaching Council, in accordance with circulars 31/2011, 25/2013, 52/2013 & 44/2019.
