Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Michael's House Special National School, Raheny is a school for pupils with a Moderate General Learning Disability between the ages of four to eighteen years. Many of the pupils have complex needs including Autism, care needs and some with behaviours of concern.
Please note, candidates will be shortlisted and contacted if called for interview before closing date. There are 2 Fixed Term Positions available. They will run until the 30th June 2025.
One of these positions will begin on 4th February 2025.
Candidates must have Teaching Council Registration. An additional qualification of working in Special Education is advantageous. Experience and having a real interest and dedication to working with students with Special Educational Needs to help them achieve their full potential is extremely important and highly desirable.
